MOVING DAY ESSENTIALS BOX

On the moving day, theres always some items you would like to have on hand (toiletries, chargers, change of clothes etc). It's handy to pack all of these items in a Moving Day Essentials box.
  1. Keep this box separate from the other packing boxes and carry it with you.
  2. Label it clearly with "Moving Day Essentials."
  3. Add snacks, water, and basic cleaning supplies for your first night.
  4. Include important documents, medications, and any valuables.

HOW TO PACK BOXES

Packing boxes the right way is important to keep them from bursting from the bottom.

Here are some simple tips to keep your boxes
sturdy and stackable
  1. Pack Heavy items like books and kitchenware in smaller boxes
  2. Avoid overflowing the boxes to the point where they cant close, this makes it difficult to stack in the truck.
  3. For fragile heavy items (like glassware), wrap them individually in bubble wrap.
  4. When constructing the box, fold the short ends in first, then the long ends over top.
  5. Reinforce the bottoms of boxes with extra packing tape.
